I am excited to begin a new chapter teaching second grade after spending the past three years in fifth grade. My experience in the upper elementary classroom has strengthened my ability to build meaningful relationships and create engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of every student. I look forward to supporting my students as they build strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics while growing socially and emotionally in a positive, nurturing classroom environment.

I believe every child has the potential to succeed and I am committed to creating a classroom where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to do their best every day. I am excited to partner with families to make this school year a successful and memorable one.

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, reading and hiking in the national park. I also cherish spending time with my two adult sons. They are both hardworking, kind and have grown into remarkable men who make me incredibly proud every day.
