Hello! I'm Sarah Williams, and I'm excited to be starting my second year as Assistant Principal at Pi Beta Phi Elementary School. Being at Pi Phi is truly special because it's home. As a lifelong Gatlinburg resident and a proud Pi Beta Phi graduate, it's an incredible privilege to serve the students, families, and staff at the very school where my own educational journey began.

I graduated from Gatlinburg-Pittman High School before earning my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Carson-Newman University. I later completed my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration through TUI University, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.

This school year marks my 18th year in education with Sevier County Schools. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to teach grades 2, 3, 5, and 7–8, serve as a K–8 technology teacher, and work as a district blended learning coach supporting teachers across the county. Before joining Pi Beta Phi, I spent one year as Assistant Principal at Pigeon Forge Junior High. While every experience has shaped me as an educator and leader, returning to Pi Phi has been the most meaningful chapter of my career.

My passion is creating a school where every child feels valued, challenged, and supported. I believe strong relationships with students, families, and staff are the foundation of a thriving school community, and I love celebrating the successes, big and small, that happen each day at Pi Phi.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Stan, my two boys, Parker and Pierce, and our two miniature schnauzers, Murray and Millie, who definitely keep our family entertained!

I'm incredibly grateful to be part of the Pi Beta Phi family and look forward to another amazing year of learning, growing, and celebrating our Mountaineers!
