I love teaching math and helping students discover ways to solve problems! I am native to these mountains, growing up just outside of Gatlinburg, in Newport. I live there still with with son, Weston who attends Gatlinburg Pittman, and his dad, Travis. My 14 year long teaching career has led me to Sevier County this year. I am so glad to be a part of this wonderful Pi Beta Phi community!

I began my teaching career in 2002, bringing over two decades of experience and dedication to the classroom. Growing up in Gatlinburg, I attended Pi Beta Phi and Gatlinburg-Pittman as a student, laying the foundation for my educational journey.
Outside the classroom, I am passionate about Scouting and enjoy hiking, pursuits that reflect my love for the outdoors, and mentoring young people.
