I began my career in teaching at Maury Middle School located in Dandridge, Tennessee. At Maury I taught 6th, 7th & 8th grade Social Studies. After completing my first year in the teaching profession, I moved to Sevierville Intermediate School located in Sevierville, Tennessee. I remained at S.I.S. for five years. During those 6 years I taught 5th grade. I spent three years with self-contained classes, and the last three I joined two wonderful teachers to make an awesome fifth grade team where I taught English and Social Studies. In 2004, I attended the University of Tennessee to earn my Master's Degree in Computer Technology, and in July of 2006 I completed my Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University with focus on principalship and curriculum. My 2007-2008 school year brought major changes in my teaching career. I moved to Pi Beta Phi Elementary School to become the school's computer teacher/technology coordinator. I absolutely love my job! My co-workers are fabulous to work with, and the students are eager to learn technology.
My husband, Ben, and I live in Maryville, Tennessee with our two daughters, Makenzie & Kadie along with our dog, Scooby. Our son, Caleb, lives in Chattanooga, TN. I love traveling, basketball and spending time with my family.

When I’m not rolling around on a scooter or playing with a parachute, I love to work on my little farm in Knoxville, with my husband Adam. I spend most of my afternoons taking care of our chickens, dogs, and (larger than I wanted) garden. We have 3 dogs; Charlie, Freeman, and Beans and they all keep me on my toes. When we do get to escape from the farm... Adam and I love traveling around the country in our 5th wheel camper on breaks from school Sometimes we even bring the entire circus of dogs along to go play at the beach too.

""Mrs. Art, Hey Miss, You, you!, Mrs. um what's your name again?" As an art teacher I go by many names - embracing this is something that comes with the job description. My actual name is McKenzie McFall, and I am the art teacher here at Pi Beta Phi Elementary. Pi Beta Phi holds a special place in my heart as I attended school here throughout my entire elementary school experience, and my mom (Mrs. Tracy Smith) has taught here her whole career. This is my first year at Pi Phi, and I'm so excited for this opportunity! A few things about me: I love to camp, hang out with my family, and play with all the dogs. Although I enjoy most ways of creating art, I really enjoy creating pottery and oil painting. I'm looking forward to working with all the teachers and staff at Pi Phi, and creating art with all the students!"
