I was born in Burlington, Vermont and raised on an island in Lake Champlain.  I spent my summers swimming in the lake and my winters ice skating!  I moved to Tennessee in 2012 with my family.  My children have both since graduated from Sevier County High School. I live in Sevierville with my husband, our daughter and five crazy animals.  My son lives in Maryville and is a computer programmer.

During my teaching career, I have worked with toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, first-graders, and now am in my second year as Pi Beta Phi’s third-grade math teacher. I love math!  My father was a math teacher for over 20 years, and my mother taught art for 25 years. Teaching is just a part of who I am!

I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family, and I absolutely love to read! I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing school and community.
