Kerri Buckner, Library Media Specialist

Mrs. Kerri Buckner has been an educator for 23 years and is proud to serve as the Library Media Specialist at Pi Beta Phi Elementary School. After teaching kindergarten, first grade, and third grade ESL, she found her passion in the library, where she inspires students to become curious learners, enthusiastic readers, and confident researchers. Mrs. Buckner believes the library is the heart of the school—a place where every child can discover new ideas, explore their interests, and develop a lifelong love of reading. When she's not sharing books with students, she enjoys watercolor painting, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her husband and their three children in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains.
