Hello! My name is Sarah Williams, and I’m honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Pi Beta Phi Elementary School. As a lifelong resident of Gatlinburg, this role feels like a true homecoming—I’m actually a proud graduate of Pi Beta Phi Elementary myself! It’s a full-circle moment to now support the students and staff at the very school where my own educational journey began.
I’m a graduate of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Carson-Newman University. I later completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration through TUI University, an Ed.S. from Lincoln Memorial University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.
I’ve been with Sevier County Schools for 17 years, with classroom experience in grades 2, 3, 5, and 7–8, and as a K–8 technology teacher. I also served as a district-level blended learning coach before stepping into school leadership. I spent one year as the Assistant Principal at Pigeon Forge Junior High before transitioning to Pi Beta Phi—and I’m so excited to now be back “home.”
Outside of school, I’m married to my wonderful husband, Stan. Together, we own Elite Fit Labz in Sevierville. We have a big, beautiful blended family that includes my two sons, Parker and Pierce, and five stepsons! We also have two miniature schnauzers, Murray and Millie, who are without a doubt the most pampered pups around!
I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Pi Phi family and can’t wait for a fantastic school year ahead!
