Class of 2009-2010
I
am excited to be teaching Kindergarten and First Grade at Pi Beta Phi
Elementary School. It is an enriching
experience to be your child’s first teacher and be able to introduce
them to
the joys of learning. I am honored to be
entrusted with this responsibility as we journey into the educational
worlds of
Math, Science, Reading,
Writing,
Social
Studies, and the Arts. The
two-year progression allows me to get to
know your child well,
develop their strengths and overcome any weaknesses.
Our classroom becomes an “all star”
community, where each student gains self-confidence in a positive
atmosphere.
Previously,
I have taught Kindergarten in Palmdale,
California, First
Grade in Anderson,
South Carolina I also have experience teaching
Pre-Kindergarten in Bad Kreuznach,
Germany and Springfield, Missouri, and Second and Third Grades in El
Paso,
Texas. I feel better qualified at
teaching K-1 because of these experiences at the adjacent levels.
and both grade levels on Marco Island, Florida.
I
received my BA in Early Childhood education
(Pre-K through 3rd Grade) from Ladycliffe
College, Highland Falls, New York. I
have
post-graduate training from Erskine
College,
“Parents as Teachers” National Training Program, (Southwest) Missouri State University, Florida ESOL
and Spalding Phonics training.

Ms. Peggy
Welcome
to
Pi
Beta Phi first grade!
My name is Peggy Wilson or Ms. Peggy to the students of Pi Beta Phi
School. I began working here during the 1989-1990 school
year. I am married and have been with my husband for 36
years. We have a grown son, daughter, and a niece I raised for
part of her life. I have three grandchildren which includes two
girls and a boy. My love for children make my job a pleasure
instead of work. They bring so much love and laughter through our
school halls everyday!
