of
2010-2011

My name is Sarah
Dunn. I was born and
raised in Seymour and attended Sevier County Schools from kindergarten
through high school. I like spending time with family and
friends, traveling, reading,
and I LOVE cats (I have 4!). I
am in my fourth year teaching and feel blessed to be teaching
kindergarten and first grade at Pi
Beta Phi. The children say the funniest things, and there
truly is never a dull moment! I believe that children learn best
in a positive environment with lots of encouragement; this is why you
will often see me with a smile on my face. I also believe that
childen can learn a lot from each other. I value cooperative
learning and love to see children learning from one another.

I
graduated
from the
University of Tennessee in December of 2005 with my Bachelor of
Science in Child Development. I went on to complete my Master's Degree
in Early Childhood Education (also from UT) in May 2007. This
past summer I recieved my Educational Specialist Degree with a focus in
Administration and Supervision from Lincoln
Memorial
University.
