Nov. 23- RIF
The theme of our distribution is "Gobble up a Good Book".
Students will choose one free book from a wide selection
of books.
We have two contests going on as motivational activities
for RIF. Check out the information below!
K-3 READING CONTEST
How many books
can you Gobble Up??
Each week I
will list on a chart the number of books
read by each student in your class. These books must be on their grade
level
and a test taken over the book.
During the week
before our next RIF distribution, we
will
tally and see which class read the most books.
The winning
class may get an extra RIF books for
each
student or the class may choose to ask the teacher to choose books to
equal the
number of students in the class and add them to the class reading shelf.

4-6 READING CONTEST
How many points
can you Gobble Up??
Each week I
will list on a chart the number of
points earned by each student in your class. These points must be from
books
read on the students’ level.
During the week
before our next RIF distribution, we
will
tally and see which class earned the most points.
The winning
class may get an extra RIF books for
each
student or the class may choose to ask the teacher to choose books to
equal the
number of students in the class and add them to the class reading shelf.
