Hi.
My
name is Mrs. Lisa Bremer, and I am originally from Brinkley,
Kentucky. (Go Wildcats!) I moved to East Tennessee 7 years
ago after graduating from Morehead State University in Kentucky with a
Bachelor's Degree in 5-9 Middle School Educaton focusing on Language
Arts and Social Studies.
I began my career in teaching at Maury
Middle School located in
Dandridge, Tennessee. At Maury I taught 6th-8th grade
Social
Studies.
After completing my first year in the teaching profession, I moved to
Sevierville Intermediate School located in Sevierville,
Tennessee. I remained at S.I.S. for five years.
During those 5 years I taught 5th grade. I spent two years with
self-contained classes, and the last three I joined two wondeful
teachers to create an awesome fifth grade team where I taught English
and
Social Studies. In 2004, I attended the University of Tennessee to earn
my Master's Degree in Computer Technology, and in July of
2006 I
completed my Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial
University with focus on principalship and curriculum. My
2006-2007 school year brought major changes in my teaching
career. I moved to Pi
Beta Phi Elementary School to become the school's computer
teacher/technology coordinator. I absolutely love my job! My
administration and co-workers are fabulous to work with, and
the
students are eager to learn technology.
I have three very special people in my
life. My husband, Ben, is
my best friend and has made my life complete.
I also have an
eleven year old son, which I inherited when Ben and I married.
His name is Caleb. In
October 2004, Ben and I were blessed with a beautiful
daughter, Makenzie
Grace.
I cannot
leave out some of the other special people in my life. My
little sister, Ginger,
teaches at Sevierville Middle School, and I
consider her a best friend.
My mom,
Teresa and her wonderful
husband
Johnny live in my hometown and continue to lift my family and I up in
prayers every night. My dad, Bobby, lives in Beattyville,
Kentucky and he is the best dad I could have ever wished for. My
Grandfather, Earl Mullins, who just turned 90 on August 31 is
inspiration to
the whole family. He is unstoppable. Even though he is 90
years old, he goes fox hunting EVERY Thursday night.
My
Grandmother, Florence Dixon, is one you would never forget once you've
met her. I must also include my wonderful mother-n-law, Renee,
who treats me like a daughter. My sister-n-law, Samantha, is an
outstanding teacher at Sevierville Intermediate school, and I consider
her as one of my closest friends.
