Grades 4-8  Students must wear appropriate gym shoes for all activities. Points are deducted from daily grades if appropriate shoes are not worn during Physical Education class. Written tests are administered to grades 7-8.

Lessons are designed to provide maximum participation for all students regardless of athletic ability. The main goal of each lesson is to underscore the importance of teamwork and trusting others. Also, we strive to foster a lasting observance of a healthy, active lifestyle.   Illness and Excuses: When a student is unable to participate in a physical activity including outside free play time, that student must give their homeroom teacher a written parental and/or medical excuse, then the note is given to the physical education teacher. If a student has an inhaler for asthma, or an epi-pen for bee stings, the homeroom teacher, school nurse, and the physical education teachers must be notified.
