Greetings and welcome to our second
grade classroom. The purpose of this site is to build on
communication between home and school. My hope is that you find my
classroom site to be helpful and informative. Please feel free to
visit often.

My
name is Dona Reagan and I teach 2nd grade at Pi Beta Phi Elementary
School. I look forward to a great year in second grade.
It is very
important that your child is in school every day, unless they are
sick. We learn something new every day, and it is hard to catch
up when you have been gone. It is also very important that your
child is at school ON TIME EVERY DAY! The time from 8:00 to 8:10
is a special time to me when we sing our national anthem, say the
pledge, and listen to announcements. It sets the tone for the
day. If your child arrives late, he/she may not feel prepared for
the day.
I am
dedicated to making this a busy, productive, and terrific year for all
my students. I believe communication is very important.
Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have in regard
to your child. I will stay in touch with you and let you know
about your child's progress, my classroom plans, school events, and
other activities as they arise.
Each child
will be coming home with a discipline plan form. Please read the
discipline plan with your child and sign the sheet and return it to me
to let me know that you have done this. I believe discipline with
respect is very important to a well managed classroom and to your
child's self-esteem. I look forward to sharing this year with you
and your child!
Sincerely,
Dona Reagan
