All About Mrs. Haun

Mrs. Haun's Classroom Rules

The 5 basic classroom ruels that students are expected to follow.

1.  Follow directions when given the first time.  Examples would be when students are asked to turn to page 14 in their English books or when asked to return to seats after a group project, etc.

2.  No talking, disturbing class, or leaving seat without permission or at an inappropriate time.  I will not allow a student to interfere with my teaching or with another student's learning.

3.  Turn work in on time.  When a student does not get into the habit of turning work in on time they get behind and frustrated when they have to look for the missing assignment or redo it.  It also puts my preparation behind when I have to wait for an assignment or ask students to look for or redo missing work.

4.  Bring materials to class.  It is very important that students are prepared with pencil, paper, books, notebooks, assignments, etc.  The day goes smoothly and eliminates frustration for students.  Please notify me if your child needs assistance in getting his/her supplies.

5.  No talking or touching in line.  Routinely, we will be traveling throughout the building at school.  Transitions from class to class can be smooth.

Homework

Homework will mainly consist of reviewing for tests, reminders of deadlines for projects, or make-up work when a student has been absent.  Students are expected to complete assignments during the school day.  Exceptions to this would be an interruption from a special activity, fire drill, programs, etc.  Please monitor your child's homework notebook for homework assignments.
